#lovewhereyoulivePrayer Walk

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve on another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10

  1. Prayer walk through your own neighborhood
    • Take notice of what you see around you. If you see toys or bicycles in the yard, pray for those children. Pray for their parents to have wisdom and patience in their roles as parents. If you see teenagers, pray for their safety as they begin growing into adults and for God to guide them.
    • If you see a for sale sign, pray for smooth transitions for the family.
    • If you see tall grass in a yard or a place that is overwhelmed with outdoor caretaking needs, pray for peace and rest for that family. Maybe even offer to help them with these chores.
  2. Prayer walk through another community
    • Pray for each person that walks by.
    • Pray for each building, car, bench, or structure that holds people in your community. Pray for God’s provision for them.
    • Pray for those unseen – for the suffering of those beyond our cities, states, countries, and continents. Pray for God’s justice and protection for them.
  3. Prayer walk around your neighborhood school
    • Pray over the children, teachers, staff, and administrators.
  4. Prayer walk around a church
    • Pray for the people that attend, serve, work, and lead the church.
    • Pray for God to speak into their hearts, heal what is broken, and replace comfort with a tenacity for reaching others.
    • Pray for their hearts and minds to grow for His glory.
  5. Prayer walk through your workplace
    • Pray over each office and meeting room.
    • Pray for God’s love to touch the hearts of everyone.
    • Pray for wisdom, discernment, and integrity for all who are employed there.
